The experts in boutique travel To Peru and South America

Inca Expert Travel Featured on CNN

December 6, 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Inca Expert Travel was featured on CNN on September 9, 2019.

Inca Expert Travel’s Javier Puente was interviewed by Brooklyn-based CNN travel journalist Lilit Marcus. The article, entitled “How to visit the Nazca Lines in Peru,” explores the many facets of these massive geoglyphs, which have existed in the Peruvian desert for thousands of years.

Instead, he says, studies show that these lines are actually “ritual-related and water-related.” The lines are believed to have led to spiritual ritual sites, where ceremony participants may have made offerings or prayed to the gods for more water to enter their dry desert landscape.

Nazca Tours:

Inca Expert Travel has been organizing trips to the Nazca Lines for more than 20 years. We are so excited that Puente, a long-standing member of our team, had an opportunity to lend his knowledge to CNN—one of the largest news agencies in the world!
